Brahms – A German Requiem
Finzi – Lo, the Full Final Sacrifice
Two much-loved classics of the choral repertoire. The requiem, written in Brahms’ native German, using words from Luther’s translation of the Bible, seeks to bring comfort to those who mourn. We will be using Brahms’ own accompaniment for two pianists.
Finzi’s anthem is a lively and beautiful celebration of the Eucharist.
