Birmingham Festival Choral Society is a Charity (reg. no. 510847). Committee members and other members involved in the running of the Society give their time freely. Our income comes mainly from members’ subscriptions, ticket and programme sales, and fundraising events.

We face a constant challenge to raise the additional funds needed to maintain a high standard of concerts – good orchestras, soloists and venues are all expensive! We want our ticket prices to be affordable so don’t feel able to increase them to cover all these costs.

We are immensely grateful to individuals, trusts and businesses who have supported BFCS over the years and would be delighted to hear from new supporters. There are various ways in which you can help us achieve our twin objectives, which are to offer our members the opportunity to prepare and perform choral works to a high standard and to offer members of the public the opportunity to hear, at an affordable price, a range of music from classical favourites to modern compositions and newly commissioned pieces.
